IN FRONT OF THE MIRROR
During my work on "Girl With The Ball", in '93, I had started the first sketches and thoughts, on how the question of mirror would help me to go on much deeper into the notion of reflection and so as to the analysis of point (ball) around which is structured the series "The Girl With The Ball" - the Whole of Existence.The radial disposition of the circular elements towards the center (point of incisions) nullifies its self-existence at the same time that defines the motion of axes..
In front of the mirror the axes that are extended to both sides, composing the reflectional symmetry, they provide it with the particular meaning a "functional" relation, which we meet often in nature.
Perhaps, this is the deepest reason why we are so fascinated by the mirror.
That functional relation is my subject of research but as catholic quality and cause of the Existence.

Series of drawings while seeking for a bas-relief composition.
I consider that the bas-relief corresponds to the subject because it has got a common characteristic to the mirror's image. It composes the third dimension. If somebody takes a closer look to the idol in the mirror, he will realize that the reflection is like loosing a part of its third dimension, like compressing.

Inside the room with the mirrors, the subject is mirrored from all sides to infinite reflections. It looks like self-analysis process to infinity.

In the beginning of 1997 I worked on the room with the mirrors in 3d program. The room converted to cube with mirrors and took its way to the series "Desmos".
